I’m Jeff Borchert, and I love photographing families.
For me, it’s about noticing the moments that matter. The quick laughs, the way your kids hold onto you, the little things you don’t plan but don’t want to forget.
I keep things relaxed and natural so you can just be yourselves. No stiff posing. Just real moments, cleanly captured.
Most people walk in unsure and leave saying it was way easier than they expected.

How much are Mother’s Day sessions?
Signature Sessions are $199 to reserve, with a $300 credit toward your final image collection. Most families invest $1,000 – $2,000 on their final artwork.
How long is the session?
Signature Sessions have no time limit. I don't like to rush. We wrap when we all agree that we have everything done. Usually 1 hour is plenty.
What should we wear?
Something that feels like you.
I usually recommend coordinating outfits rather than matching exactly. Think complementary colours and simple layers like jackets, sweaters, or scarves. They add depth, help everything feel more natural, and photograph really well.
The goal isn’t to overthink it. Just choose pieces you feel comfortable in that work well together.
Do you help with posing?
Yes. I’ll guide you the entire time so things feel natural and you don’t have to think about what to do.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
That’s normal. The sessions are designed to be relaxed and flexible, so we work with your kids instead of forcing anything. Also, I have twin toddlers. So I'm used to craziness.
When will we see our photos?
About a week. Signature Sessions include an in-person gallery reveal and ordering session where I show you a curated collection of pre-edited photos for you to choose from. We'll book that appointment after your session.
Can we buy more photos?
Yes. You’ll see all your images first, then decide if you want to add more.
Where are the sessions held?
Locations are set by date:
May 2 — Confederation Park
May 3 — Carburn Park
May 10 — Confederation Park
What if the weather is bad?
If conditions don’t cooperate, we’ll reschedule to the next available date.
Are spots really limited?
Yes. Only a small number of sessions are available on each date.
